Hello, I am Derek Green, owner and lead contractor at Brohm Lake Contracting, a small, local operation based right here in Squamish, British Columbia.

After more than two decades working in the trades—fieldwork, long hours, overtime, and real projects across the Sea-to-Sky Corridor and beyond—I've built a deep, practical understanding of what it takes to get things done right. It wasn’t about shortcuts; it was the refusal to quit hard work, relentless attention to detail, and always putting the customer’s needs first that let my skills grow and expand—from precision excavation and stone work to snow clearing, painting, renovations, and everything in between. Tens of thousands of hours on job sites have taught me how to deliver work that’s reliable, careful, and built to last in our tough coastal-mountain climate.

Brohm Lake Contracting is my way of bringing that same commitment directly to homeowners and small businesses in the Sea-to-Sky area. We handle snow clearing in winter, excavation and natural stone installation, interior/exterior painting, and targeted renovations/restorations—always with the same care and respect for your property that I’ve carried through my entire career.
